Overview
The Geospatial Science program focuses on the multidisciplinary application of geography, the spatial paradigm and methods of geospatial technologies to prepare students to:
Solve complex environmental, urban, economic and business problems
Conduct independent research
Develop skills in critical thinking and writing
Enter professions requiring knowledge of geospatial methods, analysis, and techniques.
Graduates from the Department of Geography at UNA work in various government, public and private sector jobs throughout the country and overseas. These jobs involve regional and urban planning, environmental research and monitoring, utilities, marketing, management, and field work among many other titles. Some of our graduates continue their studies in pursuit of a Ph.D. degree. For the past several years, job and school placement has reached almost 100%.

- Diploma and Transcripts: An official notarized copy of your latest diploma and transcripts and - if applicable - your undergraduate diploma should be submitted to finalize admission. All transcripts should be notarized of attested by a government institution.

- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100) is required of every international applicant.
Academic Placement: For US students, UNA uses ACT or SAT scores for advising and registration purposes, but international students are not required to submit any of these tests for admissions.
