, OR,
Be part of a vibrant learning experience in our Local Seminary Programs (SemL) by participating in traditional classroom environments, seasonal Symposia events, and weekly community life activities.

The local learning community offers you the freedom to take the number of credits that fit your lifestyle. As an alternative to the traditional classroom environment, you will also take courses online or in a hybrid format.

Studios are specially tailored learning environments where you will delve deep into your chosen specialization. In your studio, you will learn alongside a small group of students who share your specialization interest, and with faculty members or denominational leaders uniquely qualified to facilitate learning in your area.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 3

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

  • To be admitted to any of the graduate programs, an applicant must have a bachelor's degree from a college or university with four-year programs that are fully acknowledged by the ministry of education of the home country of the applicant, with an average score, when converted to the American pattern, equal to 3.0 GPA over the last four years of course work.
  • A TOEFL score of 80 (Internet based) or IELTS 6.5 is required of all international graduate students. The score should be sent directly from the testing agency — a photocopy is not acceptable for admission purposes. A higher score may be required of certain academic programs.
