About the programme
Each concentration has specific enrollment requirements, and some require specific majors or prerequisites courses. Each program is different in its delivery of online, hybrid, face-to-face, intensive weekends, or in-class sessions. The nine credits of core MEd courses may be taken totally online or in a hybrid format.
A Health Education program from Plymouth State University will prepare you for a career that is expected to grow by 21% by 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Health educators provide and manage health education programs that help individuals, families, and their communities maximize and maintain healthy lifestyles. As defined by the U.S. Department of Labor, Health Educators collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies and environments.
