Overview
Housed in Benedictine University's Department of Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, and Clinical Psychology, the Clinical Psychology program consists of academic and professional education that emphasizes “Rogerian” client-centered skill training and introduces students to a variety of theoretical orientations. Extensive field experience in mental health settings is also an essential part of the program's degree requirements.
Careers
Graduates are employed primarily in private practice and public mental health centers, hospitals, residential treatment facilities and social service agencies serving individuals, families and special clientele of various age groups. Others are in academic institutions, staff training and development or are engaged in doctoral studies.

- M.S. Clinical Psychology requires that applicants submit four letters of reference.
