The Professional Practice courses provide a flexible, bespoke work based route to a postgraduate qualification.

All courses have as their main focus a work based project supported by your own personal learning and development. You will benefit from a highly relevant, customised course which also delivers outcomes for your organisation.

The key course components allow for high levels of customisation, choice and negotiation. You negotiate your programme pathway, timescales, target award and award title.

Students may also make a claim (APL) to gain credits for exemption from some modules.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

Academic Requirements

  • Entry requirements: Applicants should usually have at least three years’ experience in a role which allows for the scope to undertake postgraduate work-based projects. All applicants require employer/stakeholder support. You may also make a claim (APL) to gain credits for exemption from some modules
  • IELTS: At least 6.5 overall (minimum element scores apply)
  • Assessment: Coursework, including learning contracts, project proposals, reports, reflective commentary, and oral presentation
