Overview

This Software Project Management programme from the University of Mauritius is primarily intended for Computing graduates who want to enhance their general management, project management and IT management competencies.

Learning Outcomes 

After successful completion of this programme, students should be able to:

• Acquire practical experience of software projects from the initial analysis of a problem,

• through design, planning and testing in order to prepare for effective participation in the software industry;

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in professional practice in IT and management of software systems;

• Apply ethics and quality standards related to software project management and apply this knowledge in practical situations;

• Demonstrate problem solving skills that involve model building and analysis, applying both theoretical and empirical knowledge to make choices and find solutions;
