Overview

The Master of Agronomy degree programme at the University Teknologi Mara consists of 70% research and 30% taught courses.

What you will learn

The core topics covered in this programme are plant ecophysiology and plant nutrition and fertilizer technology. Students will also have to write a dissertation.

One more topic will be chosen from any of the three elective courses of transformation in crop production technology, crop improvement and conservation, and microbiological processes in soils.

A Bachelor’s degree in plantation or its equivalent from any recognized institution with a CGPA of at least 2.75; or
A Bachelor’s degree in plantation or its equivalent from any recognized institution with a CGPA of at least 2.50 and 2 years’ working experience; or
Other qualifications recognized by the Senate of the University.
