The "Computer Science and Information Technologies" 2nd-cycle study programme leads to "magisterij" (master's degree). It is implemented by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.


Studies finish with a successful defence of a master's thesis. Students acquire the professional title of "magister inženir ra?unalništva in informacijskih tehnologij" or "magistrica inženirka ra?unalništva in informacijskih tehnologij" (abbr.: mag. inž. ra?. in inf. tehnol.).

    Based on the original amount of 4870 EUR per year and a duration of 24 months.
We've labeled the tuition fee that applies to you because we think you are from and prefer over other currencies.

Tuition also applies to all Slovene/EU full-time students who have already obtained an education corresponding to master's degree.

Living costs for Maribor

  • 480 - 700 EUR/month
    Living Costs

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.


Full-time students from Slovenia and other EU countries, and full-time students from non-EU countries who are granted international protection, applicants for international protection and persons from countries with which Slovenia has concluded bilateral agreement (i.e. Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, B&H, and Serbia) pay NO TUITION FEE (except the part for studying in English, if applicable) if they have not already obtained an education corresponding to master's degree.
