The aim of the Master study programme “Economics” at Riga Technical University is to provide students with an in-depth theoretical knowledge in compliance with the master’s level education and national standards for academic education, as well as develop research skills necessary for analysts of economic processes and take decisions in today’s changing economy.

Overview

The economic processes in the world and in Latvia are changing rapidly, affecting one another. The issues related to energy, food, ecology, and demography s are topical as they affect the development of national economy and people’s welfare. 

The field of study is intended to develop the skills necessary to meet these challenges at the economic, sectoral, regional levels, as well as at the level of enterprises and households.

  • Bachelor Degree of Social Science in Economics or in Management Science, or comparable education. Education documents must be accompanied by English translations of all certificates and transcripts along with approval of the documents authenticity;
