The Management Stream program offered by Waterford Institute of Technology is designed to deliver a well-rounded knowledge of the theories, practices and skills of management and business. The MBS (Management Stream) integrates innovative teaching and learning methods to prepare the student for the real world business environment and all the challenges and opportunities that this presents.
Open to all postgraduate students in the School of Business, our graduate seminar series is designed to facilitate an in-depth understanding of contemporary aspects of business, management and strategy, and their application in practice. On a weekly basis, students have the opportunity to exchange concepts and ideas with real-world practitioners in leading Irish enterprises. The series seeks to include a broad range of speakers, but retains a focus on the core themes of leadership and people, entrepreneurship, strategy, management, finance, governance and marketing.
MBS (Management Stream) graduate career prospects are excellent with in excess of 95% of our graduates gaining employment within six months of completion of the programme. Many of our graduates have progressed to middle and senior management positions in a wide variety of industries. The management skills provided equips students to progress in a broad range of business, public sector, voluntary and research workplaces.
