Overview
Specific objectives of the program include seeking answers to agricultural and natural resources as well as food, nutritional and health related questions, especially those arising in the developing island nations of the Pacific.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Sustainable Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources program from University of Guam:
- The students will demonstrate the ability to apply, analyze, synthesize and evaluate issues in the areas of sustainable agriculture, food, nutrition and natural resources.
- The students will demonstrate mastery in quantitative and/or qualitative data collection and analysis in agricultural science, food and nutrition science, as well as the natural resources.
- They will demonstrate ability to write technical scientific reports and articles.
- The students will demonstrate knowledge of current topics and research activities related to sustainable agriculture, food and natural resource sciences in the literature as well as in the island communities.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to conceive, conduct and report original research results.

- Submit an official Bachelor's Transcript with degree conferred directly from issuing institution. If you earned your bachelor's degree from UOG, this requirement is waived.
- Submit the following: Letter of Intent and Statement, Resume, at least 2 signed Letters of Recommendation (some degree program requires 3), and proof of residency (refer to Residency Policy).
- Obtain Graduate Program Entry Form and submit a signed copy to Graduate Admissions Office.
- Submit health requirements (updated within 6 months for PPD, MMR 1 & 2) and Medical History Form.
- Once ALL requirements are met, you may register for courses: complete this registration form and submit.
