Business organizations (such as multimedia publishers, banks, and corporate training centres), universities, and schools are frequently in need of skilled professionals in applications of information technology in educational and training contexts.
The Master of Science in Information Technology in Education [MSc(ITE)] is intended for professionals involved in staff development and corporate training, multimedia designers, digital video producers, instructional designers, publishers, software developers, school teachers and other education professionals with strong interest in ITE, school administrators, technology coordinators and any other professional with an interest in expanding their education background, practice and knowledge of technology applications in education.
The MSc(ITE) has a modular programme structure, including taught courses and an optional dissertation.
The programme extends over one academic year of full-time study or between two and four years of part-time study. There will be three terms in each academic year. The three terms will begin in September, January and June.
