On completion of the programme graduates have the skills and competences to independently undertake the planning and execution of advanced and complex patient treatments involving dental implants.
The programme in Implant Dentistry offered by The University of Hong Kong has a solid, broad academic coverage, including the biological basis as well as the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry.
Theoretical knowledge and clinical competence are acquired through a wide array of teaching methods, including supervised clinical work, prescribed coursework, clinical seminars, research seminars and case-based learning. The programme includes training in clinical or laboratory research related to implant dentistry, and a supervised research project.

The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. The GRE® General Test contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
