The English - English Studies program of the Southeast Missouri State University offers a broad range of courses in literature, rhetoric, theory, and creative writing which not only deepen students’ understanding of classic and modern humanist texts, but provide much needed opportunity for the development of critical and creative thinking, crucial for nurturing the global citizen.
