The Master in Building Science and Technology program targets students who wish to develop and deepen their knowledge in the areas of building performance, sustainable design and building informatics. The program is interdisciplinary and taught in English.

About

Significant social, economic, and environmental changes are causing a growing demand for high-performance and sustainable buildings. Due to advancements in science and technology, such buildings are ever more diverse in function and shape as well as more energy efficient and responsive to occupants’ needs. Students in the graduate program Building Science and Technology learn how to apply scientific methods and State-of-the-art technologies in order to address the multi-faceted challenges posed by high performance and sustainable buildings.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.   • Minimum required score (Grade B2):

    160

    C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.

    Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

Academic Requirements

 To apply for Master Building Science and Technology, you need...

  • a degree from one of the following accredited national or international degree-granting programs (Bachelor, Master or Diploma): architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, media computer science, software & information engineering, technical computer science or any other subject related field (if the field is subject related or not is decided by the dean of studies).

  • Special entrance qualification for university 
  • CV including relevant work experience 

  • Statement of intent 

  • Proficiency in English language

  • Proof of academic aptitude through recognized exams  (preferred GRE)
  • Applicant’s passport copy
