The Master of Music is designed for students ready to advance their knowledge and experience in the areas of music education, music ministry, performance or conducting.


Both master’s programs combine classroom studies, in-the-field experience, and academic research; and will prepare students to become professional musicians.

Programme Structure

Our classes will give you the hands-on experience and music exposure you need to succeed. Performance, theory, history... you'll get it all with our curriculum. Outside of the classroom, you'll have opportunities for in performance, research, musical internships and supervised teaching experiences.

Academic requirements

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.
IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

  • A bachelors degree (or non-U.S. equivalent) in an area appropriate to the major from an accredited institution and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.6 (applicants with lower GPA may be admitted upon consideration of the composite profile).
  • Two Recommendations from professionals such as advisors, major professors and employers.
  • Resume describing employment, research or special projects.
  • Statement of Purpose reflecting your philosophical perspective, personal, professional and academic goals, and reasons for seeking the graduate program.
  • TOEFL, IELTS or PTE (academic): Students whose language of education is not English must submit English proficiency test scores.
