Slippery Rock University's Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is a 60 credit-hour program, accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs, that leads to eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure as a Professional Counselor. Students choosing the School and Youth Counseling concentration can also meet the requirements for Pennsylvania School Counselor certification.Graduates are qualified for employment in a variety of settings, including community mental health agencies, residential treatment facilities, elementary and secondary schools, and hospitals.
