
Overview
In order to equip you to manage and analyse large quantities of data, this This Computer Science and Engineering programme at Ca' Foscari University of Venice teaches you statistical techniques, machine learning and how to design reliable software with a particular focus on security, correctness and performance.
You have two curricula, or study paths, to choose from, both of which prepare you to launch a career in the rapidly growing industrial sectors of production and services, particularly Big Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud and IoT.
As a graduate, you will be proficient in software design, data management and analysis, informatics systems and computer networks. The programme is certified annually by GRIN (GRuppo di INformatica - Italian Association of University Computer Scientists) and AICA (Italian Association for Informatics and Machine Learning), which endorse the quality of degree courses in Computer Science by issuing the "GRIN sticker".
Launching your career
Once you graduate, you'll be ready to seek employment in the fields of software construction and data analysis at manufacturing companies dealing with information systems and processor networks as well as at companies, local authorities or laboratories that employ complex information systems and analysis methods. Funding
As a public university in Europe, Ca' Foscari not only keeps tuition fees low, but also provides targeted financial aid for high-achieving international students. Ca' Foscari University offers high-achieving international students renewable scholarship packages of various sizes, ranging from 6,500 euro a year for bachelor's students to 8,000 euro a year for master's students.
These scholarship packages are designed to offer support for the full duration of an award-winner's degree.
