General requirements

  • Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education in civil or environmental engineering. Other engineering science disciplines will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required for admission. Candidates with an undergraduate GPA between 2.7 and 2.99 will be considered for conditional admittance.
  • Programming competence
  • Candidates with an undergraduate degree not accredited by ABET are encouraged to submit a GRE score from the past five years.
