Admission Requirement:

  • Applicants must meet the GPA requirements for graduate school at NMU.
  • Applicants seeking an early childhood endorsement must hold a valid elementary and/or special education teaching endorsement.
  • Applicants who hold a bachelor's degree without a valid elementary or special education teaching endorsement seeking to meet the requirements for teaching in an early childhood setting may enroll in the program with the understanding that completion of the master's program will not lead to a teaching endorsement.
