Your goals, your schedule, your future—in our specialized MBA program, the focus is always on all three. We offer a master degree in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. 

Overview

We offer one of the few specialized MBA programs in the country dedicated exclusively to the pharmaceutical and healthcare business, and the first MBA program offering a medical cannabis business management option.  

Three post-graduate certificate are also offered.  And as part of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, we are uniquely positioned to train executives for these sectors.

On-campus evening MBA— Classes meet once a week for 15 weeks, and students can finish in as few as 22 months. Seminar-style classes typically include 8 to 20 students participating in lively conversations, exchanging ideas with everyone involved.

Research at USciences

  • The faculty and students of USciences engage in pioneering research spanning basic sciences such as biology, chemistry, nanotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences and physics to socio-behavioral, applied and clinical research. 
  • Our research efforts are an extension of the unique academic focus of USciences, to deliver life-saving insights into the causes and cures of chronic illnesses, and continuously improve our health care system.

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.

  • Official college transcripts from all colleges attended with all degrees documented. Transcripts from non-US institutions must be course-by-course evaluated by World Education Services (WES)
  • Statement of Professional Goals
  • All applicants must submit a 1000-word essay explaining specific short and long-term career goals that the program will help address. If the applicant is applying to be a MS (Thesis) or Ph.D. student, the applicant must identify at least two of the program’s faculty whose research interests align most closely with their own interests and describe why s/he perceives this to be so. The essay may be submitted as part of application, or as an email enclosure, or sent separately via postal mail
