About

The Master of Science Program in Anesthesiology has been designed for the bachelor-prepared registered nurse with critical care experience who wishes to become a nurse anesthetist. Nurse anesthetists or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) are advance practice nurses who are credentialed to provide anesthesia and pain relief services.

Overview

Barry's well-rounded anesthesiology faculty includes Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), a pharmacist, and instructors from a variety of backgrounds. Our broad experiences provide our students with the ideal learning environment. The science-based curriculum will help you develop your expertise in anesthesiology, pharmacology, and physiology, as well as a broad understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and advanced practice.

Since 2004, our graduates have received excellent board passing rates. In addition, our highly-trained graduates are well sought after by hospitals and anesthesia groups.
