Overview
The Ozyegin University Graduate School of Business aims to play an active role in increasing the diversity of financial products and services in Turkey and making these products and services available for use around the region. The Master in Financial Engineering and Risk Management at Ozyegin University is a crucial leg of this project.
Supported by the Center for Computational Finance, the program primarily aims to:
- Build the necessary pricing and risk management infrastructure for debt instruments used by both the private sector and local governments
- Keep market regulators abreast of the latest developments and innovations in international financial markets
- Facilitate the transformation of Turkey into one of the world’s most important financial centers for its diversity of financial products and services
- Collaborate to build the necessary infrastructure for derivatives, and energy and carbon emissions markets
- Design a program with a practical focus through the use of in-depth case studies such as derivatives accounting
- Create a level of perception that is not only “book smart” but “street smart”
