As a graduate of Petroleum Geosciences Engineering at University of Stavanger you will be able to solve geoscientific problems by integrating surface and subsurface data, and exchange and analyse this information together with petroleum engineers. In addition, you will be able to formulate strategies and have the key fundamental knowledge to develop, manage, and implement technologies in the energy sector.
Graduates are qualified to a broad range of positions in the petroleum industry, and in other industries within energy resources where both engineering and geosciences are applied. With a Master degree in Petroleum Geosciences, you can also qualify for the PhD program in Technology and Natural Science at UiS.
