What You Will Learn

Our Public Finance and Economics programme equips you with critical skills and knowledge:

  • Develop Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: Our students are trained to apply critical thinking and enhance their analytical and argumentative abilities throughout their studies.
  • Master Public Finance Systems: Gain comprehensive knowledge about public finance systems, including both public revenues (tax systems, tax administration, and fees) and public expenditures.

  • English Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency with recognized certificates (TOEFL, IELTS, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency, PTE Academic, or the Scio online English test). Exemptions for English-educated applicants from specific countries, detailed below. No other certificates accepted.
  • Academic Competence: Demonstrate your academic readiness with GRE, GMAT, EA (recommended for applicants with 5+ years of professional experience), or the Scio online GAP test.
  • Previous Study Results: Submit your diploma and transcript to verify your eligibility for our master’s programme in Czechia.
  • CV: Your CV helps us understand your background and aspirations in the context of our programmes.

Masaryk University Scholarships:

  • Compatriots' Scholarship: circa 4,100 EUR annually for students with Czech roots.
  • Newcomers' Scholarship: circa 4,100 EUR for students from specified countries in programs taught in languages other than Czech. 
  • Accommodation Grant.

Other Scholarship Opportunities:
