Overview
This International Law programme from The University of Edinburgh encourages and supports the development of independent thinking and research skills to prepare students for a career in international law or international organisations.
Courses will cover the theoretical basis for the development of international law, as well as exploring real-life examples and case studies on how rules and principles are applied in practice.
The vast majority of students will have a first degree in law or international relations. Previous knowledge of international law is not a prerequisite, but those unfamiliar with the subject are advised to take Fundamental Issues in International Law as one of their options.
