
Overview
In cooperation with the University of Central Florida, the Hospitality and Tourism Management – Dual Degree offered at Università IULM - Milan allows students to attend their second year abroad in the United States.
At the end of the first year, students can choose to complete their studies at IULM University in Milan (study course in Innovation, Creativity and Tourism) or they can choose a specialization programmes abroad in the United States, at the University of Central Florida (study course in Hospitality and Tourism Management).
At the end of their studies, students can gain a dual degree, both Italian and American (M.Sc.), which enables students to apply for important roles in international companies. Upon graduation, the students at UCF obtain the eligibility to work for 12 months in the USA.
Career
The competencies enable students to cover high responsibility roles in the enhancement and promotion of touristic destinations, or in the management of companies operating in different touristic sectors. Some examples: Territory Marketing Manager, PR and Corporate Communication Manager, Business Development Manager, International Sales Manager, Revenue Manager, Marketing & Communication Manager for companies operating in the tourism industry, Convention Bureau Manager, Event Manager, or Hotel Manager.

General requirements
Admission to the Master's degree course is subject to passing an admission test in English structured as follows
- a written test in English consisting of closed or open-ended questions, aimed at verifying the quality of its basic preparation, which will focus on the topics of Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism and Territory;
- oral interview in English to check the personal preparation and the level of knowledge of English not less than B2.
Foreign graduates will have to undergo an individual interview in English in order to verify attitudes and basic knowledge relevant to the degree course and knowledge of the English language not less than B2.
The possession of the GMAT or ERG that candidates are invited to submit may contribute to the elements of judgement of suitability or non- suitability.
The result of the admission test is a judgement of suitability or non-suitability. Admission is subject to successful completion of the test.
