This Positive Organisational Psychology specialisation is offered by Erasmus University Rotterdam.

The Psychology curriculum consists of a series of modules or courses. Every course covers one specific psychological theme. All of the activities that you will undertake during this course, i.e. lectures, tutorials, practical meetings and assignments, are related to this theme. The Master’s programme consists of three courses in which you will study the topics of the specialisation of Positive Organisational Psychology and one course in statistics.

In the second semester, from February onwards, you will conduct an empirical study and write your Master‘s thesis. In addition, in some cases it is possible to do an internship during the semester of the Master’s programme.

    C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.

    Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

Academic Requirements

  • 15 ECTS in courses related to the preferred field of your specialisation;
  • At least 10 ECTS in statistics courses / advanced research methodology and at least basic SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) skills. You are expected to be familiar with the following statistical techniques (and be able to apply them in SPSS): descriptive statistics, correlation, hypothesis testing, between-subjects versus within-subjects designs, multiple regression, 1-factor and 2-factor ANOVA, repeated measures-ANOVA, MANOVA, GLM, psychometrics, non-parametric testing.
