Several sectors of the digital society use or will use the internet of objects to improve deployment, exploitation and industrialization procedures. These include intelligent transport, smart grids, smart city, industry 4.0, and so on. The issues concerning the mastery of the technologies and processes around the internet of objects are enormous and require a very high level of expertise with cutting-edge skills in multi disciplinary areas.
Objectives:
- By taking the Internet of Things programme from EURECOM - Graduate school and Research center in Digital Science , you learn to design tools for processing and analyzing large amounts of data from sensors;
- Design and develop IoT applications and services adapted to industrial needs
- Understand and design communication mechanisms adapted to the constraints of the sensors (energy consumption, lack of computing capacities)

To be eligible, Candidates need
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years of higher education) in a relevant field
- Strong foundation in mathematics
- Certified B2 level in English. No requirement are needed in French for application as the program is fully taught in English. Nevertheless some basic French (A1/A2) is recommended as a certification is needed for graduation.

Funding
For our next intake (September 2023), EURECOM and the Institut Carnot, combined their forces to jointly establish a new EURECOM / Carnot TSN Excellence scholarship program open to outstanding and motivated students who wish to pursue one of EURECOM’s 4 Master of Science and who can demonstrate appetite for research.
Up to 15 EXCELLENCE scholarships of 5.000 euros are offered
