
Overview
The objective of the Engineering and Management programme at Politecnico di Torino to train a graduate to be culturally prepared in the technological and in the economic-managerial fields, who will be capable of managing product and service innovations.
The educational plan will follow a route that starts with the analysis of market structures, from an economic and legal point of view, and goes on to the management of new product development projects, company strategies, organizational planning, production system management and quality management.
The final purpose is to create a high-profile professional figure who will be able to intervene actively in strategic and technical-operative decisions (the planning and management of business models, organizational structures, development projects of new products/services, financial choices, etc...), and who will be able to influence the competitiveness of companies and organizations operating in contexts characterized by elevated innovation, but also by a marked technological and market complexity.

The main career and professional opportunities for Industrial Engineering and Management graduates regard roles in: product and process engineering; product or service life-cycle planning; operations management; management of information systems in support of business and operational processes; financial planning and control, both in public and private organizations.
