Overview
The Mathematical Engineering - Mathematical Modelling for Engineering and Science degree from University of Padua provides students with a multidisciplinary high-level education lying between engineering and applied mathematics, giving them advanced skills in the field of mathematical modelling of physical or financial processes together with advanced computational engineering expertise.
Delivered in English, this course combines in-depth knowledge related to applied mathematics and other basic sciences, in particular physics and finance, with an advanced knowledge of the theoretical-scientific aspects of engineering in general, in order to develop advanced mathematical modeling investigation tools.
A versatile training that will allow you to face experimental, computational, technological, economic, epistemological problems related to the construction, validation and use of models and to spend these skills to identify, interpret, describe, formulate and solve even complex engineering problems.
You will be able to operate in different contexts such as design and experimentation support activities within engineering firms , software houses, banking and insurance institutions, public administrations and public and private research institutions.
