In this Communication program at Bryant University you’ll gain extensive exposure to the theory and practical application of the science and art of persuasion; essential interpersonal and intercultural communication skills; emerging and important modes of communication and media; and the state of the art in the concentration you choose:
You'll take courses, collaborate on research, make conference and classroom presentations, and secure meaningful opportunities to work with industry, government, and other organizational partners—all under the guidance of Bryant’s graduate faculty. Our faculty are prominent, award-winning scholars, teachers, and media industry professionals who continually enhance their own expertise through research, publishing, consulting, and community service. Most importantly, they care deeply about your academic and professional success. You may elect to complete your master’s degree by taking comprehensive final examinations, but you also have the option of researching and writing a master’s thesis, or by completing an applied research project.

Classes are scheduled during evening hours and on weekends to allow students to pursue graduate studies on a full- or part-time basis.

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
