This programme is the right choice for you if you have a passion for art and culture and want to work behind the scenes in the cultural sector and possibly have a leading role in an organisation. During the Master's, you will build a thorough theoretical foundation in the fields of arts and culture studies, which will help you to understand art and culture on many different levels. After graduation, you can use your expertise to strengthen the cultural industry – whether this is as an educator, researcher, communication's specialist, creative director or more.

The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Minimum required score (Grade B):
C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.
Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading). Language test: Sufficient English language skills, documented by recognized tests of English language proficiency, e.g.: * TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language), minimum requirement: overall score of 100 in the internet-based test. * IELTS academic (International English Language Testing System), minimum requirement: overall score of 7.0. * Cambridge CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) at least grade B, or Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) will also be accepted.
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
