Overview
Key facts
The graduate programs at Yeditepe University have been established to educate students to become competent chemical engineers, who are needed for the fast developing chemical industry, and to advance government and industry-funded research conducted in our department.
The programme
In our graduate programs, courses and research projects in fundamental Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Fuel Technology, Nuclear Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Inorganic and Polymeric Materials, and Surface Chemistry are carried out by our academic staff specialized in these fields. In addition to the Chemical Engineering graduates, the Department welcomes applications of those from other engineering (such as Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Food Engineering) and science (such as Chemistry and Physics) disciplines preferably graduated with a minor in Chemical Engineering. Graduates from other disciplines need to complete a scientific preparatory program in 2 semesters including coursework of maximum 18 credits approved by their academic advisers.
The candidates need to submit their applications to the Graduate School prior to the due date to be considered for a graduate program.
