The MA in Philosophy (2 years) at Central European University (CEU) provides students with a solid grounding in the major areas of philosophy, such as ethics, epistemology and philosophy of mind. Working in small, interactive classes, students will develop transferable skills like analytical and systematic thinking and reasoning, as well as will learn how to analyze complex texts and arguments.

The MA program in Philosophy (2 Years) at Central European University (CEU) is for graduates with a three-year bachelor’s degree in philosophy or in a related field. The two-year program covers most of the major areas of philosophy, mainly from an analytic perspective, including the major periods in the history of philosophy.

MA students can also specialize in interdisciplinary certificate programs in Political Thought and Religious Studies at CEU.

Program objectives
