The focus is to deliver skilled professional animal scientists who are well equipped to tackle problems related to sustainable livestock development as well as to the management of livestock and companion animals. The animal-human interaction plays an important role in this study programme. Applicants for the MSc programme of Animal Sciences should have a relevant BSc degree in animal sciences, biology, ecology, aquatic/marine sciences, fisheries, or natural/technical sciences related to animals. A Dutch bachelor degree (HBO) related to one of the topics mentioned above is also relevant for admission to the MSc programme of Animal Sciences.
