The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mathematics, Bachelor of Science Degrees in Physics, Masters of Science Degrees in Mathematics, Master of Science Degrees in Statistics, Master of Arts Middle Grades Mathematics and a doctorate in Mathematics Education. Overview

All the programs introduce central ideas in a variety of areas in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Physics, Physics Education and Statistics and develop problem-solving ability by teaching students to combine critical thinking with rigorous reasoning. 

The programme

The Mathematics program provides students with a spectrum of courses in pure and applied mathematics, statistics and develops rigorous mathematical thinking. The Physics program provides courses that present, in depth, areas of classical and modern physics.

GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.
