The MEd Education program at Calvin University serves teachers, administrators, and educators more generally who desire to grow personally and professionally through advanced education.
Concentrations
The degree program is flexible, allowing you to specialize in any relevant area of study. We also offer four formal concentrations:
- Inclusion
- Literacy
- Educational leadership
- Curriculum and instruction
The Inclusion and Literacy concentrations are available fully online. The curriculum and instruction and education leadership concentrations have both online and on-campus courses.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a GPA of 2.8 or above (on a 4.0 scale)
- Two years of teaching experience are required for the Education Leadership concentration and recommended for the other concentrations

- Two professional recommendations
- Official transcripts from each college or university attended
- Proof of English proficiency
- Financial commitment (for on-campus programs only, not online)
