Who can get an MSA?

  • While a majority of MS in accounting students have an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Business, a number of students have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in areas other than Business.
  • Students admitted without the necessary undergraduate coursework in Accounting and/or Business will be required to take prerequisite courses in those areas before enrolling for graduate Accounting or Business courses.

            The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.           Academic Requirements

          Required admissions materials include:

          • An admissions application completed online through the Apply Texas system.
          • Official transcripts from each college or university attended, including the accredited institution from which the applicant earned a bachelor’s degree.
          • Scores on the GRE or GMAT (for MBA applicants). Both tests are administered by the LU Career & Testing Center. Scores may not be more than five years old. Use school code 6360 for GRE.
