About

The Master of Science in Clinical Research from Rush University is a two-year (five semesters) program that aims to provide the tools and guidance necessary to undertake clinical research. The student takes two semesters of core courses followed by three semesters of mentored clinical research.

Students who take the Master of Science in Clinical Research from Rush University will complete a master’s thesis that can also be used as a publication and the basis of a National Institutes of Health career development award.

  • Grade point average - GPAs must be converted to a 4.0 scale.
  • Standardized test scores.
  • TOEFL scores - Scores must be submitted for international applicants who have received a diploma from a university at which English is not the language of instruction. TOEFL scores will be waived for non-native English speakers who have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a US accredited institution and have demonstrated language proficiency supported by the interview.
