Overview

The Seton Hall University offers concentrations in Behavioral Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Behavioral Sciences — all with a thesis. In addition, we offer concentrations in Data Visualization and Analysis and Psychological Science without a thesis. Whichever you choose, you’ll find individualized research training and mentoring, state-of-the-art facilities, and outstanding faculty with a wide range of expertise.

The programme

In this two-year, research-intensive Experimental Psychology program, all students are paired with a faculty member by the end of their first semester for immersive research experience in our advanced facilities, including animal and eye-tracking laboratories. Every semester students take three courses: two content courses and one course dedicated to development of the students’ mentored research. This work culminates in either a thesis, literature review, or data analysis project at the end of the second year.
