The Psychology program of University of West Georgia has a broadly humanistic orientation, with additional foundation in existential, transpersonal, and critical-social theoretical perspectives. We prize a holistic view on human subjectivity, interpersonal relation, and being in the world.

The Psychology program of University of West Georgia is generalist and integrative, allowing students to dwell in both the historical and theoretical foundations of psychology as well as linger in some specific conceptual and applied areas of focus. We do the work of head, and heart, and hand.
