During the two semesters there are a range of taught modules to choose from, providing the opportunity to combine mainstream, advanced mathematical topics and innovative methods relating to the research interests of the School of Mathematics.

During your second semester you will be required to complete a research project. This is an opportunity for you to pursue a particular topic in-depth: your supervisor will help you to find a project that matches your interests and motivations for studying this degree.
