Graduates of programme in Cultural Sociology at Masaryk University are able to skillfully participate in research projects, including the selection, collection, analysis, and interpretation of empirical evidence consisting of meanings, signs, textual and visual documents.
They are able to deal with the ethical aspect of sociological research, too.

Graduates are able to analyze and compare communication strategies developed in a variety of organizations, associations, social and cultural movements or subcultures. General requirements
- Applicants are selected on the basis of their academic achievements and motivation shown in the documents submitted (prior diploma and transcripts, CV, and a motivation letter) and demonstrated in the video-interviews. Recommendation letters and proof of English language required.
- Admission committee reviews the materials and evaluates them (maximum 100 points, passing level is 60). Video-interviews are arranged to evaluate applicants' motivation and English language knowledge.
