Admission and enrollment in the Telecomunications Engineering and Mobile Technologies and Services Double Master's Degree at Carlos III University of Madrid will allow for the exemption of validated ECTS, according to the curriculum plan (see Program). Completing the credits from both curricula along with having 30 ECTS recognized will allow you to obtain two officially.

About

The overall aim of the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering is to train professionals who are competent to practice as Telecommunications Engineers. The Master's Degree is geared towards advanced training and enhancing employability.

The Master’s Degree in Mobile Technologies and Services is a professionally-oriented master that deepens into the access technologies, network and services in the specific environment of mobile communications. The main goal of the Master’s Degree in Mobile Technologies and Services is to train professionals with the capabilities and abilities to work in and advance the mobile communications sector in Spain and Europe.

The joint offer of the Telecomunications Engineering and Mobile Technologies and Services Double Master's Degree allows the students to obtain a wide and general training in Telecommunication topics as well as simultaneously a very specialized training in cutting-edge subjects in mobile communications.

Academic Requirements

The following candidates may be admitted to the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid:

  • Graduates with Bachelor's Degrees in: Engineering, Telecommunications Technology, Audiovisual Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering and Telematics Engineering.
  • Three-year courses (Ingenieros Técnicos): Telecommunications engineering graduates with any specialism.
  • Four-year or five-year (depending if taken before or after the changes implemented by the Bologna Process) undergraduate degree courses: Telecommunications Engineering graduates
  • Students holding any Bachelor's Degree, despite the fact there may be outstanding previous subjects deemed necessary.
