Sport Coaching Masters course at Liverpool John Moores University programme offers prospective students a range of exciting learning experiences which include; talks from expert external guest speakers in the field, access to ‘master-class’ workshops from highly experienced coaches, the opportunity to join our monthly coaching research seminar series, the possibility to gain voluntary experience at a local sports organisation and access to a range of other coaching related ‘CPD’ activities The programme will enable you to enhance your effectiveness as a coach, using learning experiences which encourage analysis and critical reflection of your personal practice.
It will improve your analytical, critical reflection and problem-solving skills as well as enabling you to effectively manage the coaching process. Your learning will be grounded in coaching practice and you will explore case studies, learning from peers and leading coaching practitioners.
This programme enables you to work in a variety of environments with a range of athletes.
It is ideally suited to anyone keen to develop a career in sport coaching, teaching, sport science support, further and higher education and sport development. It also provides progression routes to PhD study and industry research roles.
