Overview

The Nursing (Nursing Administration) concentration at Loma Linda University prepares nurses for leadership in a variety of organizational settings. The curriculum draws from the practice of nursing, management and related fields, and includes administrative, research and clinical components. It provides for learning in an environment that fosters autonomy, flexibility and creative scholarship. An intensive practicum provides the opportunity to develop and test skills in real-life settings with emphasis on critical thinking.

Students may be admitted any academic term during the year, part-time study is available, and courses are offered to accommodate working nurses. The graduate will be prepared for the certification by the American Nurses Association as a Nurse Executive, Advanced.
