Our program is designed for the full-time working student, with classes in the evenings that fit around your work schedule.

The core curriculum includes nine courses in accounting, management information systems, economics, finance, international business, management, and marketing. If your undergraduate degree is in a discipline other than business, you may be required to take up to five additional foundation courses to ensure that you have the background to succeed in the MBA courses.

English Language Requirements

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 2.75

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.75 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

  • You need the following GMAT score:

    Required score: 450

    The GMAT - or Graduate Management Admission Test - is a frequent requirement for admission at management and business schools across the world. The GMAT score ranges between 200 and 800 and measures the verbal and quantitative reasoning of test-takers.

General Requirements

To be eligible for graduate study at UL Lafayette, you must:

  • have (or soon have) a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) from a regionally accredited university.
  • demonstrate English language proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) if you are an international applicant
  • provide additional application materials (including GRE/GMAT) depending on the degree program to which you're applying
