The Master of Education is a training program at the graduate level, attached to the Faculty of Education at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. 


Its purpose is to train researchers in education and the consolidation of academic communities able to generate new knowledge that contributes to the solution of educational problems in the country and the region, based on the social, cultural and political development of the community and processes formation of human beings.

To educate students in education from various disciplines and educational sectors, committed to the development of the country and the region, with high ethical, political and social commitment, able to strengthen production of new knowledge and its use and transfer to different contexts and educational levels.

Strengthen networks and academic communities come to think and reflect on the most important educational problems in the Colombian and Latin American context, incorporating our professional capacity to contribute to projects and research processes.

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

  • Photocopy of diploma or degree certificate of undergraduate and / or postgraduate degrees have been previously studied. 
  • Photocopy of the qualifications of undergraduate (and postgraduate cursados, if applicable). 
  • Two letters of recommendation from people who evaluate the academic and professional candidate. 
  • Labor certification which stipulated fee and time commitment. 
  • Photocopy of identity card. 
  • Receipt of payment of registration fees and canceled form. 
  • 1 picture 
  • Certificate of EPS or photocopy of the passport.
