The Master in International Relations seeks to stimulate reflection, analysis and research, regional, continental and global issues that characterized the historical period we live and determine the inclusion of Colombia in the international system. 


These specific objectives are framed in the search for the peaceful settlement of conflicts, respect for human rights and understanding of the constant changes and challenges of the contemporary international system.

Graduates of the Master are able to understand the interrelationships between political, economic, social and cultural spheres in the international system, and mutual constraints between the domestic and the international. Own tools of analysis, conceptual and theoretical to continue the debate around these issues is carried out in academic centers worldwide. These tools enable them to understand and explain the dynamics that take place in the international system, a global, regional or sub-regional level.

The Master of International Relations at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, allows a multidisciplinary approach, without neglecting the theoretical and epistemological of science itself; also it delves into the practical analysis of the objects of study of international relations: regions, actors and processes. This makes it a program focused on understanding the international environment in order to form graduates that in the Xaverian spirit, are able to understand their world and influence it.

  • Two size 3 x 4 photos.
